Sekian, terima kasih. Dont ask me why the announcement is in broken Malay. I just thought it would look really funny and get all of you to click on my Nano page! So come, give me your support, shout in the tag board, it doesn't cost a thing, and plus you get to choose the character of your choice and make a parody out of it! Its going to be a fun November! Bwahahahaha Sorry, wrong sms sent I am totally addicted to smses. I send so many text messages everyday, it's taking a toll on my keypad. I swear my phone is going to tear apart if I keep this up for the next few weeks or so. But thats not the point. You see, my phone does not have a "phone book" function in the text messaging menu. In other words, I have to memorise the number which I want to send the message to. Or, I could save the draft message, go to my phone book, write down the number, go back to the sms menu and send it. "Ditch the phone" I hear somebody say now. That's not possible. You see, I am a very sentimental person and this handphone has a very high sentimental value. Now as much as I have good memory, there are times when I totally make a fool of myself by sending out the wrong messages to the wrong person. One such incident was this. I had all good intentions to stop my friend from going out with this guy (who is a mutual friend of mine by the way) so I decided to send her an sms. "I'm not trying to be nosy, you know, but YYY is a womaniser, smokes a lot, and doesnt take relationships seriously one ler... please think carefully ok?" GUESS whose number I keyed in instead. Yes. I keyed in the guy's number. Not my friend's number. IMAGINE what happened a few secs later. "B*BI C*LAK* PU**** ENGKAU. Let your friend decide who she want to go out with lar. I am going to whack you big time man" (Disclaimer-miracle 8 does not advocate the use of profanities. To avoid innocent teens from stumbling upon my blog using GOOGLE to google for God knows what, asterisks are inserted) Yes, and he didnt talk to me for a few weeks. Did I learn my lesson? NO. Yesterday night when I was happily chatting with my good friend Vinny on MSN, Ses_Co died on me and needless to say, whatever I was working on in my pc was totally wiped out. Never mind... I lighted a candle and proceeded to send an sms to her. "House black out. No electricity. Talk to you later" And I keyed in the wrong number again without realising it. No doubt it was still a number in China but holy smokes I really don't know WHO was on the receiving end. This morning, I received a reply from said number. "Ni Shen Jing Bing Ah?" (Are you crazy?) Moral of the story: check the number thrice before you send the sms out. Sunday, October 30, 2005

Ah bliss is the word My sincere apologies for lack of updates. My punishing schedule has left me tired and disoriented, hence the tardiness in updates. I am sure most of you would be tired of staring at the birthday post by now, so here goes some of the stuff I have been meaning to post up but was unable to do it sooner: 1) Deepa-Raya celebrations. While West Malaysians can indulge in muruku and rendang at the same time, and enjoy one full week of blissful holidays, I still have to work from Monday to Wednesday. :( But the prospect of being able to visit my colleagues and pig out on cakes, curry, ketupat, satay etc...is very very tempting. I plan to take photos during my visits so you can have a look at the scrumptious food on display... hahahah 2) A late condolence message to our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi over the recent demise of his beloved wife, Datin Seri Endon binti Mahmood. The nation watches in grief as Pak Lah controls his emotions during the funeral of his wife. May he be strong enough to overcome this trying period of grief. I also wish to extend my condolences to Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting over the demise of his mother. A very strong woman who was widowed in her 40s, she gritted her teeth and brought up 11 children under extreme poverty. Her perseverance has paid off. I will be concentrating on my Nanowrimo novel from next week onwards so updates will appear on My Nano '05. Have a good weekend guys! I know this entry is kinda crappy but please bear with me as I have a novel to write ;P

Profile Right... four years exactly into working life and suddenly I found the urgent need to ramble about my not so interesting life...here goes:
I am: Liberal and radical on paper only. This is the basic description I would give myself. I am a good listener and usually offer sensible advice. If I don't sound like myself, its must be my evil twin at work :P I am passionate about: Music and Arts. Can't imagine what this world would be like without these two essential elements. When I'm not working my head off I like: Meeting new people from all walks of life and listening to their life experiences. I take things with an open mind (albeit not completely Zen like) and always remind myself not to take anything in life for granted. And I wish: All my friends, my family and everybody else who will somehow cross paths with me, a fulfulling life, in terms of work and relationships. And remember, you only live once. So make the best out of it. :) Tag Board Calendar
